By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. About CareBeacon

CareBeacon is a trading name of a Company registered in England and Wales under company number 09540376.

2. Website purpose

The website provides general information about CareBeacon's facilities, inspection, maintenance, asset-management and compliance-support software.

Website content is for general information only. It is not:

  • legal advice;
  • regulatory advice;
  • clinical advice;
  • health and safety advice;
  • engineering advice; or
  • a guarantee that a care service will achieve or retain any particular regulatory rating.

Customers remain responsible for operating their services lawfully, safely and in accordance with professional and regulatory requirements.

3. No substitute for professional judgement

CareBeacon is a digital workflow, recording and evidence-management tool.

It does not replace:

  • competent management supervision;
  • professional inspections;
  • statutory testing or servicing;
  • clinical or safeguarding judgement;
  • fire-risk assessments;
  • legionella assessments;
  • medication-management procedures;
  • health and safety advice; or
  • compliance with CQC or other regulatory requirements.

Alerts, ratings, reminders and reports depend on the information entered into the system and the configuration selected by the customer.

4. Accuracy of website content

We aim to keep website content accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that it is complete, error-free or suitable for every organisation.

Product features, pricing, availability and implementation times may change. A binding commitment will arise only under a written customer agreement or order accepted by us.

5. Pricing

Website prices are indicative unless expressly stated otherwise.

Prices:

  • may be exclusive of VAT;
  • may depend on site size, configuration, hardware, sensors, implementation and support requirements; and
  • may be replaced by a written quotation or order form.

Sensor hardware, installation, connectivity, 3D scanning, data migration, bespoke development and other additional services may be charged separately.

6. Intellectual property

All intellectual-property rights in the website and its content, including text, designs, graphics, branding, software demonstrations, screenshots, videos and documentation, belong to or are licensed to CareBeacon.

You may view and print reasonable extracts for your internal evaluation.

You must not, without written permission:

  • copy or republish substantial parts of the website;
  • remove branding or ownership notices;
  • commercially exploit the content;
  • reverse engineer any demonstration or software;
  • use the content to develop a competing product; or
  • use CareBeacon branding in a way that suggests endorsement.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • misuse the website;
  • attempt unauthorised access;
  • introduce malware or harmful code;
  • interfere with the website's operation;
  • scrape or harvest information by automated means;
  • impersonate another person;
  • submit unlawful, misleading or harmful content; or

These terms and any dispute arising from use of the website are governed by the law of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

We may update these terms from time to time. The version displayed on the website will apply from its stated effective date.
